TWENTY FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE HONOURED AT ALICE SMITH
The Alice Smith School honoured the dedicated service of its late principal, Mrs Patricia Lee on July 9, with a naming ceremony for its state-of-the-art classroom building. The Years 3 and 4 classroom block, at Jalan Bellamy, contains 10 classrooms, two libraries, a Mac Suite and performing arts studios, and was named the "Patricia Lee Building." Her son, Mr. Graham Lee, who currently resides in Singapore, was the guest of honour at the ceremony.
"Pat Lee was the backbone of the Alice Smith School and nurtured hundreds of children through her 25 years of service," says Val Thomas-Peter, Director of the Alice Smith School. "Across the world and especially here in Kuala Lumpur, there are many adults who were students at Alice Smith during Pat's tenure and remember her gentle touch and the high expectations she engendered in all."
